St. James Catholic Church
Cazenovia New York
St. James Church in Cazenovia, New York was designed by Mr. John F. Teitsch, and dedicated on April 3, 1971, as an entirely new Church Facility, based on the principles of the Second Vatican Council.
Teitsch, in collaboration with the Parish and Pastor, Rev. Robert A. Casey, developed a new facility consisting of:
- Sanctuary / Nave
- Daily Mass Chapel (that can double as overflow seating)
- Kitchen and Parish Hall Facility (that can be divided for Religious Education Classrooms)
This project represents a holistic approach to religious design, integrating the entire site within the composition of the new Church Building
