Emmaus Ministry

Syracuse, New York

Teitsch-Kent-Fay Architects, P.C. assisted Road to Emmaus Ministry on Glen Street in Syracuse with their covered porch project, designed to assist in their ministry. This porch protects the existing entrance adjacent to the accessible ramp, and provides covered access for food distribution during COVID.
The construction was completed by the Diocese of Syracuse construction team lead by Mr. Edward T. King.

Design Features include:
Building signage to increase visibility in the neighborhood, and make it easier to locate the facility from Salina Street
A Shrine / Niche for a statue of Saint Marianne Cope, Road to Emmaus Ministry’s patron saint, with protection from the weather and accent lighting.
