Sullivan Free Library

Are you in need of something from the wonderful wizard of Oz? Don’t head to Kansas, instead check out Sullivan Free Library.

Teitsch-Kent-Fay Architects, P.C. designed the conversion of a former bank building to become Sullivan Free Library. This project was completed in January of 2008, but what makes it so unique is the many Wizard of Oz themed elements throughout the library. From the Tornado Book Display, to the Tin Man at the circulation desk, and more this project has a variety of fun filled aspects that makes it really feel like you're in Oz.

Brian Manning, Vice President, recently met with Library Director Karen Fauls-Traynor to discuss some interior improvements to make to the Sullivan Free Library. These include a vertical lift to facilitate movement of books between levels of the building. This project is certainly a favorite of Brian’s, he and the rest of the office are excited to assist this fun-filled library once again. One thing is for sure there’s no place like Sullivan Free Library.
