St. Lawrence University Carnegie Hall Reconstruction

The purpose of this renovation project was to provide a central unified location for the Departments of Modern Languages and Literatures and International Education, which had been located in various facilities throughout the campus.

The building was organized into four use areas, with frequency of student use, available space per floor and remaining architectural conditions and features dictating priorities.

A central open stair surrounding an elevator and faced on the east by a full building height glazed opening provided the link connecting all elements of the department.
