“To say I’m impressed is an understatement of the grossest kind!  I cannot believe how lovely the library is.  It  is stunning....”

Library Development Specialist

State Education Department.

Teitsch-Kent-Fay Architects’ conversion of a 162-year-old church building into the New Woodstock Free Library saved this historic building from neglect, and provided the community with a modern, full service library.

A fully accessible approach  through a new entrance arch leads to the circulation area which is located at the center of the building, facilitating supervision.  Original features such as the chancel area and choir area were incorporated into the library.
