Canajoharie Library and Art Gallery
The art gallery possesses an exemplary collection of 19th and 20th century American Art of which the most notable is the largest collection of work by Winslow Homer. The art exhibits draw visitors from all parts of the world.
The existing art gallery was renovated and a second gallery was added. A new entrance for the galleries was included. A new vault provides security and is environmentally safe for the art collection.
The Canajoharie Library and Art Gallery Addition & Alterations, designed by Teitsch-Kent-Fay Architects, P.C., expanded the historical 1924-1926 building to meet the growing needs of both.
The library, serving the local community of Canajoharie, has an expanded collection for Juvenile, Fiction, Browsing, Non-Fiction and Local Historical Collection, while offering greater user comfort and space for new technology.
